Fire and Water

Romans 8: 14 For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.

Fire and water ... in the natural they cancel each other out but in the spirit realm, they work together to refine and renew. Before something new comes there is a birthing process and in most circumstances, in the same way a baby is born, the water breaks and a child is born.  

Fire burns away that which is built of the flesh and water will birth the new that comes to replace it. 

To what end? To see the sons and daughters of God rise up and partner themselves with Him for an unprecedented revival across the earth. 

For a very long time, this has predominantly been at work within us but now and then, when seasons come, it will also be physically seen around us. 

This morning the Lord gave me 8 scriptures that declare the birthing of a new bread of people who He's getting ready to shine.

Matthew 11: 11 Who we are surpasses the greatest of men in the time before Christ. There are some spine-chilling accounts of faith and obedience recorded in the old testament, yet the least of the Kingdom of Heaven far exceeds the courage of these men.
We have the right to stand in God's eyes through Christ and no weapon formed against us will prosper.

Revelations 3: 15-22 Our focus has been derailed in pursuing and building our own empires. V18 tells us to purchase things that transform the heart not make the flesh more comfortable.
If we don't have the eyes that can see what chance we have in changing course to stay in line with the spirit of God.

Ephesians 4: 18-24  We have become so busy doing things for God that we have lost the reason we even started - in all our pursuit we didn't notice that He wasn't there that much anymore.
It is hard to let go but this is the only way to the deep waters. To Religion and the world's way of thinking it is better to get more but in reality, the more becomes the chains that keep you from Him. 
V 24 says we have had the table wiped clean resist the temptation to clutter it with your own desires again.

Galatians 3: 7-14 There is no way around what God has set in faith, we must renew our thinking and abandon the self-effort of doing to get God's attention. The truth is God doesn't ‘need’ anything - He is the creator of all things, all He wants is to be in our hearts, mind, body and soul. A communion of repentance and faith in His son the final sacrifice.
There are two ways to travel in this life but only one has His favour and rest on it.


Deuteronomy 8: 1-5 No one can convert themselves, we can only "be" converted or "be it done unto us," not according to our will. It is not possible to find the gold nuggets beneath the surface of your soul on our own because we quit looking too early...we run from the pain that purifies. We have to comprehend and understand that our only hope is to give consent to the Holy Spirit in such a way that allows Him to get at us for meaningful transformation to take place.

Acts 2: 8-21  The season will declare the sons of God. The symbol of crossing the Jordan is not about works, it is the move of the Holy Spirit resting on those that have trimmed their wicks and carried their responsibility of sonship in Christ so that He can.
Right now Jesus is calling us to repent and get ready for His move upon the church. Yes, that's right, He will clean the house before He takes His standard ( His people ) into the world. 
V 17-18 says He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh so the current sons and daughters will feel it first.

Deuteronomy 11: 10-12  The destination for His bride is to be set apart, pure, without any previous relationship that taints. The only way this can be is through the blood of Christ and a complete transformation of self that only the Holy Spirit can do.

 On the other side of the Jordan is a land where men humble themselves and wait for His due seasons, casting all their cares on Him and intentionally at rest with His Spirit to continue the sonship inheritance of possession and freedom.

Revelation 10: 8-11 These last days are for the Glory of His name and the promise of redemption for His creation and although it will look like the opposite at times His word will not return to Him void.
When the current church is sifted and put back into order many new assignments, commissions and inspired revelations will pour out over His remnant that will launch them into the world for the harvest.

Our challenge is to let go of the old way of doing things; It is not a challenge against the truth but a reversal of our need to control it. The more we let go the deeper into faith we travel.

It is so important right now, while there's time, to let the fire and water separate our unhealthy need for safety and allow the holy spirit to prepare us for the desert wastelands that are surely coming our way. Uncertainty is a difficult place to live in but as we listen to His heart and unpack the next move we find His answers.
